Spring In My Heart

Spring at Stourhead -  a beautiful National Trust house in Hampshire near where we were visiting Robin's uncle and aunt on Saturday.

 I find it mind boggling that humans still eat baby animals. And small birds. Maybe I've been watching too much butchery on Masterchef.....

This morning for breakfast I juiced bunches of Russian kale and purple sprouting broccoli, apples and carrots, root ginger and limes, celery and cucumber.....suddenly craving all things fresh and sharp, hard and sweet, green and yellow....things that grow in the soil....knowing that winter is finally over.

It feels like spring is growing in my heart too.
